Post 133 Memorial Day
American Legion Post #133, located at 1300 S. 25th, Temple, will be hosting their annual Memorial Day Program on May 25. The program will begin at 10:00 am with Retired United States Army Colonel and former Texas State Senator Hugh Shine bestowing Eagle Scout honors from Troop # 101. The two recipients are Ben Holle and William Holle. Following this the program will begin. Retired Colonel Shine will be our guest speaker for the event which will also include memorializing our members who have passed during the past year. A ceremony to dedicate the recent flag retirement pit, which was an Eagle Scout project constructed by Billy Thompson, will follow the program. A meal will follow the dedication. The public is invited with special emphasis on family and friends of our Post 133 Veterans who will be memorialized.

Veterans Day

The American Legion Post 133 will be having a Veterans Day celebration on November 11th. The program will begin at 10:00 AM. We will have a guest David Gage, Retired COL, US Army. We will also be recognizing deceased members who will be moved to our Post Everlasting wall. We will be having a BBQ meal with the trimmings. Hope to see you there.
